EMAIL DISCLOSURE
GCEFCU wants to ensure the online protection of your personal and account information. Please note:
- GCEFCU will not ask you to submit personal or account information via email.
- For your protection, any email sent from GCEFCU including member service emails or email alerts will require that you successfully login to our secure home banking site before entering any personal information.
- If you ever receive an email appearing to be from GCEFCU that asks for personal information such as your account number or social security number, do not respond to the email and notify the credit union immediately.
FEE SCHEDULE
Effective 08/01/2019
Check Draft Fee: $0.00 We will draft your checking account from another financial institution to pay your monthly loan, or deposit
money to your savings. If you do not have payroll deduction, this is a very popular way to pay your loan payment without having to write a check.
Dormant Account Fee: $5.00 per month after one (1) year with no transactions if balance is under $100.00
Loan Application Fee: $30.00 each
Loan Document Fee: $50.00 each
Late Loan Payment Fee: $25.00 each
Loan Refinance Fee: $40.00 each
Returned Check Fee (NSF): $30.00 each, applies to checks deposited to account from another financial institution
Returned Statement Fee: $8.00 each occurrence
Excessive Transactions Fee: Share Savings $5.00 each after two (2) transactions per month

FUNDS AVAILABILITY POLICY
It is the policy of the Garland County Educators' Federal Credit Union to make funds from members' deposits available to the member the first business day after the deposit.
For determining the availability of a members' deposit, the credit union is open:
September-May
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9:30am-4:30pm
Tuesday, Thursday
9:30am-5:30pm
June-August
Monday-Friday
9:30am-4:00pm
The credit union is closed Saturday, Sunday, and all federal holidays, plus Good Friday, Black Friday and Christmas Eve.
If a deposit is made before closing on a business day the credit union is open, it will be considered deposited that day.

To our account holders and potential account holders:
In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act of 2001, which requires the GCEFCU to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, GCEFCU is required to obtain basic identifying information from you and verify that information when you open a new account.
This means that GCEFCU staff will ask you for some basic information such as your name, address, date of birth, and other information designed to help us identify you. GCEFCU staff will also ask to see documents identifying you such as a social security card, driver's license, passport, and/or some other government-issued document.
In some cases, identification will be requested for those individuals conducting business with GCEFCU prior to the effective date of the member identification requirements. This is because original documentation was not obtained with the opening of the account or GCEFCU is unable to form a reasonable belief that it knows the true identity of the existing account holder.
In all cases, protection of our members' identity and confidentiality if the Credit Union's pledge to you. GCEFCU appreciates your patience and understanding as we all do our part in complying with the new account identification procedures required by the federal USA Patriot Act of 2001.

If someone calls you explaining that the call is on behalf of the credit union and asks for your account number, you should beware. Official credit union staff will have access to your information and will not ask for it.
- Keep your information with us current. If your address or phone number changes, please let us know. It is important that we have current information on how to reach you. If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity or use of an account, we will attempt to contact you immediately.
