We are a not-for-profit, member-owned, federally insured federal credit union. We offer a safe place to save and borrow money. We return money to our members in the form of high dividends and low interest. We typically have fewer fees than banks. Here are some other differences:

GCEFCU is a closed-membership credit union. We only serve the people who work in Garland County school districts, or their families. If you are a bus driver, a secretary, a teacher, a principal, a custodian, or anything in between, you can become a member of GCEFCU and start reaping the benefits of credit union membership. You don't have to have excellent credit or have lots of money to join. All you need is $10 and a photo I.D. Come into the credit union and start saving today!
