Garland County Educators' Federal Credit Union was founded in 1968 on the
credit union principles of "Trust, Respect, Integrity and Excellence."
For more than 40 years, we have existed solely for the purpose
of serving our members' best interests. This focus on members
instead of profits allows us to offer a full range of financial
services specifically designed to meet our members' needs
and provide substantial savings.
Our Mission and Goal is to be an essential source of financial assistance for the Garland County Educational Community by providing members with unrivaled personal services and assisting them with their future monetary needs.
A voluntary board of directors administers GCEFCU and establishes
and reviews policy. The Directors are credit union members
who are elected by the membership and serve without pay.
Today, GCEFCU serves all employees of the Garland County Public and Private Educational Systems.
We enable schools to offer their
employees all the benefits of credit union membership
at no cost.
These employees view credit union service as
a benefit and opportunity to help them save money and provide them with a source of credit. They also find a credit
union staff that is dedicated to delivering convenient, dependable,
and personal service to every member.
Employees and their family members can join the credit union by opening
a share/savings account with a minimum deposit of $10.00. Credit union membership is also
available to any immediate family member of the employee regardless of where
they live or work.
Our Motto is "COMMUNITY - DEDICATION - SERVICE"
